You’re in the right place. Find answers to the most common questions about booking, accommodations, amenities, farm activities, and what to expect during your visit. Check In/What to bring
- Check in at 3 pm
- Old shoes or muck boots
- Camera – plenty of photo opportunities on the farm
- Your favorite fishing pole and tackle box
- Hiking Boots if you want to take advantage of the Appalachian Trail or other hiking trails nearby
- Tent/sleeping bag to sleep under the stars
- Your favorite allergy relief
- Once your stay is approved, we’ll send you detailed information about checking in
Check Out List
- Check-out time is 11 AM. We need to make sure we have time to prepare for our next guests. Please plan accordingly.
- Place all used linens (sheets, pillowcases) in laundry room.
- Place all used bath towels in the washing machine and start.
- Place all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start.
- Place all garbage in bins adjacent to rear garage.
- Please make sure the fireplace is OFF and the AC/heat is adjusted.
House Rules/Pet Policy
- Must be 25 years of age to rent
- Check in is 3 PM; Check out is 11 AM
- No pets
- Smoking is permitted, but only outside
- Please do not rearrange the furniture
AMENITIES
The things we have in the house, in case you need them:
- Washer/Dryer (including detergent and dryer balls)
- Dishwasher (we will leave pods for your stay)
- Vacuum
- Ironing Board, Iron
- Pack-and-Play
- Outdoor Gas Grill
- Bath towels and make-up removing cloths
- Lots of extra blankets and pillows
- Luggage racks
Our kitchen is stocked with the basics… and then some. Keep opening the cabinet doors and you will find:
- Coffee maker and Keurig (for those with patience, and those without)
- Kitchenaid stand mixer
- Crock Pots (large and larger)
- Full set of pots/pans – and a few Le Creusets for the special occasion
- Dutch Oven
- Toaster
- Can openers – electric and manual
- Blender (for daquiris, of course!)
- Immersion blender
- Colander(s)
- Box grater
- Bakers delight: mixing bowls, measuring cups, and all the baking essentials
- Lots of plastic/melamine for outdoor dining or kiddo-friendly use
- Pyrex baking dishes
- Spices
- Wine opener(s) (strategically located in several drawers – you are on vacation, right?)
- Cutting boards
- Knife sets
- Enough silverware to serve the community
Farm Activities
- Fish or kayak on the pond
- Roast some hot dogs and/or s’mores around a campfire
- Birdwatch (connect your phone to the live feed camera for close-ups of our feathered visitors)
- Snuggle with the goats
- Fill a basket (and your belly) with seasonal produce: raspberries, apples, pears, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, and more!
- Grab supplies in the potting shed and snip some native Pennsylvania blooms
- Snooze in the shade and breeze of an oak tree while swaying on a hammock
- Stake a tent in the yard (or pasture) to sleep under the darkest of skies and the brightest of stars
- Check the nesting boxes for farm-fresh eggs and make the omelet of your dreams
** While all of our animals are generally friendly, please understand that the behavior and actions of any animal can be unpredictable and that personal injury or property damage can occur. Please obey all posted signs and supervise all children. When in contact with any of the animals, please promote good hygiene by handwashing and sanitizing.
Though tucked away in peaceful countryside, our farm stay is just minutes from the heart of Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley. From farmers markets and hiking trails to shopping, dining, and cultural events in Bethlehem, Allentown, and Easton — you’re never far from something to explore.
